I've seen routers do some very bizzare things. You may want to see if the same thing happens on a different network, or disconnect the router and plug a computer directly into the modem. Verizon utilizes DSL modems with a built in router to authenticate on the network. I've often seen this cause problems if you have an additional (wireless) router in line with that type of modem. This can usually be resolved by putting the modem in bridge mode and setting your router to authenticate. Let me know if this seems possible and I can probably help walk you through the process.
P.S. Just to clarify this for everyone. Rendering of most windows and images on a computer is done by the processor and not the graphics card. The primary purpose of a graphics card is translating a signal so that it can be broadcast on a screen. The additional purpose of a graphics card is rendering complex multidimensional images (such as those in 3d games) |
