| Pigeon Kidnappers
I had heard that people take pigeons from the city parks to Pennsylvania and use them for trap shooting. Today I witnessed it myself.
If you see someone throwing nets over pigeons in the parks please report it to the park ranger or park police. They want this practice stopped and will actively pursue any leads you can give them.
No matter how you feel about pigeons, they are NYC property, and it is illegal to take them from the parks or harm them. |
