Every time I've been to NWA, I've gotten a different vibe. Sometimes, the advice and info flow. Other times, they won't tell you anything specific.

Unfortunately, the prices are ALWAYS high. Most of the time I feel like highway robbery has been perpetrated against me. NWA is the land of the $45 Salifert kit (even tho you can get it for $16 online).

I would advise against going to this store until you're set up and comfortable in the hobby because they won't give you info unless you're a paying customer. And if you pay for basics, like I did, you'll get ripped off (like a REALLY overpriced aquarium).
