Almost funny, I too was in Astoria today and ran into Steve when he came down the block to see what was happening with the fire.
I was working in one of the stores on that block and my car was parked across the street from the building on fire. I couldn't even leave til some of the fire trucks cleared out..I was there for hours.
Probably should have walked over to the store & run into some more of you & done some shopping
I have pics from the fire & will post if they ever get into my email from my phone...
