my tank was never covered. i also have 3 purple firefish and one red, it's doing well.

i had one was making a nest in the sand the first day so i thought it will be fine, next morning can't find it in the nest so last night i found it dead in the sump.

the other one went hiding as soon as i put it in, found it on my floor this morning.
