Maybe you heard that Aquarium Specialty is the only company in the country offering the new wireless wave driver upgrade from Ecotech Marine. Now we arw offering FREE shipping on vortech pumps at Aquarium Specialty. Offer is only good in the lower 48 states and does not include the battery backup or wireless driver option. During checkout on the site, select "customer pickup" as the delivery option and Aquarium Specialty will pay the shipping charges.

I missed the first group of drivers. when will the second group be available to buy? are you taking pre-orders?

Please vist the Ecotech forum on RC for info regarding the the next driver release date. We are not taking driver orders at this time. We will post it in our forum here when we are about to do another release.

Is it possible, that when Ecotech releases the second batch that you could notify us here also. Keeping track of their threads on RC takes way too much time sifting through all the posts to get good information.

Also, how long is the rebate going to be good for ? Is it for a limited time only ? I need three of the wave drivers. Is there a limit on how many you can order at one time ?

I find tracking through the threads at RC on this issue a bit confusing as well. I need to pick up some Vortechs for my new build and keep wondering if I should wait until they come out with the New model (that doesn't need to be upgraded), or if i am going to lose out when the "special" on the upgrade is expires (i.e. $50 refund on your old driver)

Don't worry, will will post this info on all the forums. We are getting 4-5 emails a day about buying the WWD....It's a little frustrating but the up-side is that Ecotech has created a great product and people want it.

Why is Eco still selling new Vortechs with old drivers?

I understand that the controller is an optional add on, but the drivers too?

Makes me hesitate to pull the trigger on these puppies especially since Eco announced at MACNA that the controller will not make it's debut till the end of the year.

Did pick up an Neptune Aqua Surf from Curt though

They are not old drivers. Once the wireless option is avail you will be able to buy either version of the pump.
