In short, algae is going to grow in our tanks. Our job is to encourage the "good" algae to grow, thus feeding our tanks and also limiting the nusiance algaes.

Turbidity: Reduced clarity in water. Usually caused by suspended organic or inorganic particles. Adding sand to your tank without turning off the power heads causes high turbidity!
