This thread will be to organize an MR book club as per the suggestions of other threads. Our first decision will be which book to start with. Perhaps The Reef Aquarium: Science, Art, and Technology, Vol. 3 by Julian Sprung and J. Charles Delbeek may be a nice book to start with. ![]() it is $72.86 at Amazon.com (free shipping)

might as well start with a bang. I've never read that book yet. But from what it seems, it would be a good book for both beginners and experts alike.

If we want to get people into this, I would suggest a smaller and cheaper book to start. This way we can get people into it and start discussing it sooner. Just my thoughts. BTW... I'm all for 2 separate threads, jhale or another mod, can you clean up the 2 threads to avoid confusion. Thanks. |

These 2 are smaller and cheaper, though I don't know much about them, they may be a quicker way to get started. Water Chemistry for the Marine Aquarium (Paperback) Algae: A Problem Solver Guide (Oceanographic Series) |
