yeah.. I'm curious to see how we can get those eggs to hatch and survive. My snowflake and black ice spawn every 3-4 weeks, but I could never see anything surviving. I could see the little babies insides the eggs with their eyes and stuff, but I've never seen them survive.. maybe the other fish eat them up???

The frys become fish food on hatch night. If I could find a way to safely and securely place a ceramic tile in that location and they happen to spawn on it, then I will take ezaudio2 up on his offer.

This might sound silly, but how easily can you suck the eggs of the rocks using a turkey baster or a pipet. Maybe a switch blade to get under the coralline and eggs and take it off.

What do with the eggs after you suction it out or splice it out? Do you still need the parents to tend to them? I'm presuming I would need a second tank, right?

They continue to spawn on a regular basis. This is actually a different pair that started spawning in my QT. I gave ezaudio a batch of eggs, but I'm unsure if he had any success. I've since moved these to a 120g DT and they've stopped spawning. I'm sure they will start again on their own time.

Here is a pic of the female and a short video. The video shows a very small batch, but it was larger, I think the eggs hatch over a span of 2 nights.
