I've been having a small problem with the Red Hair Algae in my tank, my Devils hand kept closing everytime the red algae wud grow on it. I kept peeling off the algae so the devils hand wud open up again, for a while I didn't take the algae off and noticed it was closed so I put the devils hand in front of my return line so the current cud blow away the red algae and the devils hand kinda fell apart, almost disentergrating, Now half of it is still on the rock and the other half is gone...should I throw away the rest of the coral or will it survive........ ![]()

Is it still intact? If its still falling apart, just get rid of it before it fouls up your tank. If the part thats left is solid, give it a chance. But for a leather to fall apart somethign had to be wrong in the tank thats not making it happy. So that parts gonna have a hard time surviving if what ever is wrong doesnt get fixed.
