Growth Shots

I get a kick at looking at growth shots. The first pick is of a frag that I picked up in April. I was told at the time that it was a "neon green acro". The second pick is the same coral about nine months later. I had it laying on my sand bed for aproximately the first four months, because I was unsure what I was going to do with it. During that time it did turn bright green. Most of the growth you see is over the last five months or so, when I moved it up much higher in my tank. Since then the new growth has taken on a bluish hue to it.

That is a quite impressive growth. I wish my SPS will grow that fast.

What I find absolutely amazing is that I had it laying on my sand bed for the first four months or so, and I still had great growth. I moved it up and it started to color up.

I have seen amazing growth in all my sps since starting two part. I swear, I can see growth when I havn't really looked at the tank in a couple of days.

here is another set. Also nine months apart, I don't know how this coral lived, it was in such bad condition when I got it. Nine months later and i am still not sure what it is.

It looks like from the pirst pic on the 2nd set that that coral was completely bleached.
