Reefer Ratings: (11) Friends: (0) | Who can revive my Pink Birdsnest?
I bought a Pink birdsnest colony about a year ago and it has looked worse and worse every day. I don't have a recent picture of it, but here's a pic of it close to when i first got it. (middle-right) I'd like to find a successful sps keeper who would like to take this off my hands and take a shot at restoring it. This piece has significant amounts of hair algae in it and is pretty brown. The bottom half of it is dead. I'd ask that if you do have sucess with it, that I could grab a frag of it from you once it has recovered nicely so I can give it another shot. Please PM me if you are an experienced sps keeper and interested. Nate |

if you was closer i would try to help you, but as stated it does look like you got water quality problems, thats alot of green algea on the side of the tank, how often are you doing water changes ? you use a rodi ? phosban remover ?

you can always frag it up (since the bottom half is already dead) and spread it around and hope atleast 1 of those frags survives in somebody's tank
