Not necessary to feed them, they usually catch some food when you are feeding your fish. Are you saying that the 'head' has detatched from the skeleton or is the food not sticking? What kind of food?

normally, you don't need to spot feed hammers. but if you want to spot feed, go for the mouth directly ... not the tentacles.

when it expands fully, turn off all powerheads or flows. drop a small piece on it. protect it from fish or others from stealing it. it will eat it after 5 to 10 minutes if it's healthy n hungry. |
