Then this can't be a condy. It had been hosting a pair of GB maroons for almost 2 years. My little true perc took to it in a week. I've never had any problems with it stinging corals or fish. I just wish I knew what it was for sure

This anemone had been hosting a pair of GB Maroons for almost 2 years and now my little perc. The perc took to it in only a week. If it really is a giant condy, is it really that dangerous? The condy's I've seen are usually white with a colored base. This anemone has no colored base and is green with tiny purple dots on the tips of each tentacle. When looking at its tentacles closely you can see grooves or stripes running down the entire tentacle length-wise if that helps ID it at all.

no.

an unhealthy or new fish may stuble into an anemone and get eaten but you can label a specific species a "fish slayer" ALL ANEMONE TRAP AND EAT FOOD. weak or ill or new or confused or small fish are more prone to this. BTA nematocyst are MORE POWERFUL than condylactilus. but its considered by many a reef safe anemone, no anemone is truly reef/fish safe.
