hope i'm not beating a dead horse here.

I was checking out the new maxi mod kits at http://reefdom.com/products.asp?cat=106

looks like a professional mod is finally available. how do these compare to the tunze nano streams?

for the guys that went to macna....did you see these kits in action?

They don't compare. Nanostreams have published flow rates and Tunze's reputation to stand on. You know what you're getting for your money. Reef Central has a dedicated Tunze forum to address any bugs found with the pumps. Maxijet mods are inexpensive when you DIY. Purchasing premade kits which cost several times the original product doesn't feel right. Especially when there's no accurate measurement of the improvement you're getting.

Mod kit from Reefdom-$60 plus MJ1200-$20 .... pretty expensive.
I think the mod kit from MJMODS.COM is a little cheaper (I can't access their webpage at this time).
