Hey that stand looks great ... I just recently did one for a 55 and it looks ok but not as good as yours.

You should add about 3.5 more 2x4's... You never know, you might just want to jump on your tank and party like a rock star.. Look's good..

for a 4 feet long tank.....i would add another 2x4 in the middle between the doors for extra support.....u can cut it to fit snug but still able to remove it if needed.....JMO.....stand looks great! and what color stain is that?

The stain is red mahogany, and just last night as I was looking at the stand I also decided to put a 2x4 in the center after I put in my sump just to be safe.

The stand I built for my 300 gallon tank has less 2x4's than yours.
