I am looking to dremel down the slots of my Oceanic Overflow box (has a glass liner inside i must be careful of) and wanted to know if i should be using the 1/4" router bit for that (item 654)

Good question - I drilled 3/8 holes at the top of my overflow slots - they get clogged with algea once in awhile and mess with the salinity since my top-off makes up the difference.

worked for me, but, I don't have glass behind mine - be careful

I just did the side slots and i have essentially 3 big slots now (thank god i did not ruin the glass). I didnt do the front because i want it to stay nice and clean - the acrylic pieces between the slots busted as i dremeled them down.
