Mets installing drain pipe/line

Hi all, i'm in the process of installing an internal overflow to a 29g tank, the overflow is going to be installed inside the tank, on the back of the glass, over a 1" bulkhead....the overflow is going to be the kind that customking builds....i was just wondering if anyone has done this before that can share some knowledge, or even better pictures of your set up, so that i can get a better idea of what to do or how i should do it....

research on the noise .. ...make sure that your over flow can handle the return ...
build your overflow box big enough to fit your durso or what ever you getting for your " sluuurp " muffler

I'd build it like an external durso, then make the overflow box big enough to cover the elbow inside the tank

well the tank is drilled on the back of the tank near the surface of the water, and the box is going to be placed on top of the hole.
