Tasseled Filefish (Chaetoderma pencilligera)
Very unique looking fish. This fish can be very timid in captivity and a slow eater. When acclimated, it will almost eat any prepared foods offered. I feed mine a mix of frozen and pellet foods. I think its best to keep the ratio of Pellet: Frozen to 75:25 respectfully. Many aquarists do not realize how large these fish get as they are not seen at their adult sizes often.
I've kept mine in reef tanks but they have nibbled on corals especially duncans and zoos so be careful if you risk it. Otherwise these are pretty hardy fish when acclimated and fed a proper diet.
