Male Female
Xanthichthys Auromarginatus-Blue Throat Trigger
These triggers are reef safe and will get anywhere from 4”-10”, so a large sized reef is needed to house them. It should also have a lot of rocks for hiding space. As with any large fish, that requires a great deal of feeding, it will increase your bio-load. The biggest problem with some of these Triggers is that a lot of them aren’t good eaters, and with them not being aggressive to begin with, leads to some of them just wasting away. So care needs to be taken when getting one of these reef safe Triggers.
Can be somewhat aggressive and may eat inverts and small fish, so you need to be careful when placing on in your reef tank.
