Taenioconger Hassi-Garden Eel
These eels are reef safe but need a deep sand band of at least 1'-2' as they make holes in the sand where they live in. They will then reach out and catch passing food. Since most people can't supply this type of environment they should be left to experts who are willing to setup a specialty tank for them.

cool fish that no one but the most dedicated person should own

garden eels if kept in a tank require a large tank! the sand needs to be deep, and they need to be fed often, so your filtration better be awesome as well.

unless you are going spend some serious money on a proper tank to house them then leave them in the ocean.
