This has not been my experience. I know of quite a few anthias that were fine in tanks smaller than 100. I find that it really depends on the species of anthias and the number that you want to keep. I believe that accepting prepared foods is the issue for most of them.

Manhattan Lyretail i think

i had this anthia for about 6 months and then sold my tank. it was only a 55 gallon and it seemed pretty happy.

Deep, the fathead / sunburst is more closely related to the hawk fish than the anthias from what I have read (but I like them more than most common anthias anyway lol). Anyone have a pictillis they have shots of? Going to try and get some pics of one.

Here are mine. LarryTail anthia is in the pic with the carpet. The following two were sold as LT, but I think they are Bartletts anthias. It was suggested that they are Randalls, but I don't think so.
