Reefer Ratings: (15) Friends: (1) | RIP: RS sailfin tang
My Red Sea sailfin tang got infected by some sort of parasite after I cleaned out my sump a few weeks ago. I had to send him to fish heaven before I went out of town last week. Now, any suggestions for a new fish? I was thinking either another tang or a large angel. Current fish list: PBT Chevron tang Hippo tang Regal angel Flame angel Potter's angel Anthias (only 1) Cleaner wrasse Flame hawk Diamond goby Paired marrone clowns Paired true percular clowns 6-line wrasse |

Sorry about the sailfin. Do you have a Kole Tang? If not, I'd lean towards one of them first. Off of your list, my choices first to last: Chevron tang (just as good as a Kole and probably better looking) PBT potters angel I'm impartial with the rest although I do like Regals and the orange splash of the flame angel. Flame hawks are just cool fish. I'd stay away from the six line. I hate mine. Hippos are cool, but mine seems a little too aggressive. |

I think the achilles tang (acanthurus achilles) is a great looking fish. Plus I love the whole "A goddess dipped me in something that makes me invincible" thing ... ![]()

Hit or miss. I have a lot of people putting them in their reefs. Jonathan, sorry to hear about your loss. M
