Maroon Clown not long for this world

I am going to KILL my maroon clown

ARGH!!!!!!!!

This fish I have had for maybe 7 years, maybe 8 - I don't even remember. I got him as a pity buy - the tank he was in was full of dead fish - and I was a big reef DUMMY then - a BABY to the hobby....

I never would have known (moron) that this fish would decide that HE owns my tank and can redecorate as he desires.... So in the mean time, he dumps sand on my acans, picks at the gorgonian, picks up and moves anything that he wants to and chases the ONLY other fish in the tank when he's bored....

So if anybody wants a nice big, healthy, fat, maroon clown (possibly for a tank full of triggers or lion fish?) - let me know because I need him OUT of my TANK......

N O W

See if you can banish him to your fuge for a few weeks (sort of a 'time out'). Give some other fish an opportunity to adjust and acclimate themselves into your display.

Just a thought.

Russ, if I can catch him tonight, i'll happily put him in the fuge, but Jim thinks it's inhumane (yes, even for this fish....)

looks like someone might actually want him though....

wanna help me catch a fish?

Soooo Tahl..having issues with your fishy are ya?
Come on now, you know you'd feel guilty if you gave him away! You're his Mom! He was a cute little pup when you got him and NOBODY is going to take as good a care of him as YOU! the

Ummm...Is this working??

Grab some glue and nail those silly corals down and add another fish or 3 and things will be peachy!

If none of that works, then I have no idea who stole my name and posted on this thread...

female? We sure of that? the males are little and peaceful and submissive? neat breed.... j/k

Kathy - I have NO problem finding this fish a new home. While he does have a GREAT personality (eats out of my hand w/o biting me), i got him when this was a fowlr tank - a LONG time ago (back in the day when I would take out my "corals" and scrub them down when they started to grow algae on them (they were from a florida beach dead-zone - long bleached and white and "pretty" - sheesh, that was a long time ago...)

anyway, i have loved this fish, but my tank has changed so much from the fowlr days... time for this guy to move to a better home for him I think.

unless you can really talk me into sumping him for a while, introduce other fish, then bring him back - but i am just afraid this is MUCH more trouble than it's worth....
