Help with my angler

Hi, I recently got a small angler and I noticed that he eat my damsel which was about twice the size. I had no idea he could swallow fish twice as big. He is showing some signs of heavy breathing, but still active in my tank. Any suggestions??? Thanks

I don't think there is much you can do with a fish choking, and they don't really suffocate like us with lungs w/ air passage. They breath through gills by having water passing through them.

LOL but if you worry about its shortness of breath might lead to angina. You might want to give him a 12 lead EKG? LOL j/k

Do your research before you purchase.

Thanks for all the advice
Well I've been trying to catch that damsel for last few weeks.
Angler is still alive. I think the belly got little smaller. Maybe in few more days he'll be ok...I hope
