tax refunds

for those that are lucky to get a tax refund, how many of you are going to use some of the money to buy something for your tank? or all of it

I would used it all up to get myself a nice decent setup...hmmmmm 180 gallon, if i have more space and my brother won't kick me out...lolz
Just because of that, i am getting a calcium setup, and probably find a nice chiller for the summer Man, i'm already poor, going into reef puts me below the poverty line...kakkaka

I used part of my tax refund a couple of years ago to buy my 2-260gal tank setup. Since then I haven't got a large enough return to buy anything.

wow, micheal that was a nice refund! mine have not been close to that. I can get a chiller and maybe go out to dinner

and that's not a dinner at Nobu, more like Johns Pizza

That last 3 years or so it's been small federal refund and I've had to paid some to the state/city. Just enough leftover for lunch. This year I owe about $250 all together.

I am prohibited from using any tax refund money. My wife has put the kaibash on any spending on the tank :-(

So, that being said, I will be running a realtively empty new 180 until a spending amnesty occurs

I have never spend any money from tax refund on a reef tank. Because luckily I was in this hobby then.. I don't know if this is a good thing or bad thing.. Unfortunately, I don't know about this year Going to be very very poor, since I join in this community.

Jonathan is that john's pizza on bleeker youre referring to??it's good pizza, and on a casual night much better than many dinner spots.it just gets too crowded.

Jose, yeah, John's Pizza on BLeecker. I don't go there often, the lines are insane with tourists waiting for pizza. It's like the holly grail of pizza in NY. the funny thing is that there are other little places in the same area with better pizza imo.

I'm not married, I get to keep all my money. And I can spend it on whatever I want. That's not necessarily a good thing.
