Wow umm lets see

My favority tank by far is the cube tank.

Oceanrunner is by far the best submersible pump ive had. Mag is good also. Didnt like my dolphin, sedra, or genx they are all basically teh same. SEIO i wasnt happy with.

Velocity T3 and T4 were awesome pumps. Absolutly silent they just added too much heat.

Tunze Streams were awesome just too $$$

I like the sequence pumps much better then dolphin.

Aquacontroller II over Octopus

400W XM 20K is SWEEEET
Using a 250W XM10K which i like im adding some T5 Blue bulbs to blue it up. Thanks for the ballast Kris

Skimmers i like the becketts and the Euroreefs. Dont really like the AquaC EV they work but not as well as beckett or Euro. Airstone skimmer didnt work well for me but thats because it was not setup right.

Like Shallow sandbed much better then Deep. Im probably going Barebottom in a week or 2

John,
Never!! Chubby will be with me for a long long time. :D I haven't given away my keets in 5 years. ;) Funny thing about my female keet is her name is "Buddy"...she got eggbound and cost me $200 at the vet to have the egg removed and she only cost $10!! I could of bougt Chubby the second with that money! My mom paid but I had to paint the entire apartment as a way to pay her back.

Dan, Your welcome. No problem on the ballast. :D

Hey the guilt trip! LOL! It is really hard for me to have a fish tank that is not a reef.

Kris - it is a pleco. My percula clownfish are more than 6 years old. My mandrin is 7-8 years old at least!

Plecos, plecos, plecos. I remember those guys.

John, now why do you have to go and make him feel guilty about it, but Shaun you could use this to your advantage. Tell your gf that you need another tank and that you have to use hers, then when she says no agree and you have another tank in the house:D .. then you could take hers over anyways....hehe...

I still want to see your tank...hopefully I'll get to see it soon.

In my last apartment:
Started with a 10 full of mean-ass tiger barbs. they would kill everything I put in that tank. (even Bigger tigerbarbs)

Found my 100 (old 6'long) on ebay for $150-tank, stand CC, Magnum canister, uv filter, everthing. I picked it up that day! With full intention of it becoming a reef tank. Then checked it for copper, and there was NO WAY I was going to chance it. (did I mention that the guy's ex wife "accidentaly" dumped a gallon of bleach into the tank on her way out the door?)

So I threw $1 of feeder fish into the tank to make sure it was okay. Out of the 20 that went in (no acclimation, just dumped in) 13 lived. The pics are two years later, the same fish!

I built the hood.stand cover (it was a metal stand) from left over decking from "shakespeare in the park" It's cedar, and there wasnt' a knot on the whole thing.

So I was pissed about the 100 not becoming a reef. I ditched the tiger barbs and set up a 15 high reef Nov 2001.
Then I fished out a mantis shrimp and he got his own tank. 4 gallon cube.

it leaked. so I bought a 7 gallon bow. got rid of that for a 10.
Did I mention that the whole time I've had a 20 gallon backish in my bedroom, and a 20 gallon livebearer at work?

When I knew I had to move, I started selling off tanks. and building my current setup.

now I have ONE 20 gallon reef and I'm completly happy with it. (www.bad-coffee.com) I'm not upgrading until I own a house, and can have a fish room. (famous last words)
