All my ballasts, timers, transformers all going into the box.

This is the before pic:

Here's the metal work done

I need to get to radioshack to get a quick connect for the hood, one for the fuge light, and then some tiny, but long screws.

More pics to come!

My Dad's an electrician. I've been wiring boxes since I was 10 or 12 years old.

Not that I don't get shocked once in a while, though!

If Office Depot would get here, I could go to radioshack and get this finished today!

I hate being hostage to deliveries. "sometime between 8 and 5" Not even morning/afternoon. So I gotta stay here all damn day!

Box done, now I have to do the hood and the fuge lines so I'll have lights tomorrow!

Inside:
150MH ballast (and fan) on timer
2x 32w pc 1 on timer for actinic in hood (soon)
1PC on switch for fuge
Moonlight on switch.

BC, that thing looks so complicated. But it looks so nice and clean without all those wiring and ac adapter. I need to do something like that someday.. It just take a little bit of time and patience.

Vic, I haven't seen you around lately. How have you been? You been in jail, busy, or just hiding out at that other place?

Ricky, Sure. I can build you one. There's a few things I'd do differently. Like get box mount timers. I bought these because I had the time to tear them apart and frankenstein them into the box. If I were to build them for someone else, I'd use the other timers and cut 4-5 hours off the build time. I wouldn't have to do so intricate metal work. I could just chop a hole in the box and mount a regular plate.

Jose, The water is in the box, but not the jug. Just Kidding. That gallon was skimmate. Since I don't run my skimmer all the time, I'll just use a jar when I do run it. If I leave it out now it looks cleaner!
