IT LOOKS LIKE A PLATE CORAL WITH ABOUT 100 MOUTHS AND 1/2 LONG TENTICLES

it could be an echinophlyia too 0 similar but more tentacles.

Will be interesting to find out for sure, but it looks alit like that chalice pic I sent you via PM

Chalices don't display tenticles like plate corals. :smash:

The genus is definitely Halomitra. It's the species that's in doubt.

Those ridges are daughter colonies forming. Many fungiids reproduce in this fashion.

According to E. Borneman's book, Aquarium Corals page 257:

They are polystomatous (multiple-mouthed). The top edges of the septa tend to be smooth, distinguishing them from Sandalolitha... These corals are usually ochre-brown or cream colored, often with pink or purple margins. Tentacles tend to be translucent, and mouths tend to be white.
