I have a beautiful rock covered in Zoanthids must be 1000 heads.

However, there is also a pest anenome outbreak in between a lot of the heads.
I would say there are at least 15 aptasia.

I don't know what to do, I love the rock and the coral I just don't know how to remove the aptasias.

WHAT should I DO!!

File Fish

If you want to be completely safe, a file fish will take care of them and not touch the zoas until the aptasia is gone. Ive had really good luck with mine.

a bunch of peppermint shrimp should do the trick. Aptasia x seems to kill them for only a short period of time the spores spread and you keep getting a reoccurring out break. Natural is always better the file fish is not a bad idea either but I don't like them. Either way good luck.

I used Aiptasia X numerous times on an aiptasia between my zoos too. I finally got tired of doing that and got a peppermint shrimp. That did the trick. But as mentioned, some are hit or miss.
