Tell me your water parameters?

My temp goes from 77.5 to 79. I use RO/DI water and keep the specific gravity at 1.025 - 1.026. Otherwise... :lol2: NO IDEA. I hate testing parameters with the fire of 1000 volcanoes. I don't know why, and absolutely don't recommend this practice(especially to beginners).


Disclaimer.. I keep softies and mushrooms only. My fish are happy and the corals don't seem to mind. If I get the idea that keeping SPS is fun, then I'll start testing more, but there's no plan at all to make changes.

Yeah when I kept softies I never checked either. They are a lot more forgiving but the sticks have to be monitored. I really don't mind it especially the alk. It's a 2 min test and it gives me peace of mind till the next day

BRS Dosing Alk twice during over night 1am and 4 am 5ml each

Manual Dosing cal once a week after check the test to see how much need to dose

Change water every 2 weeks

I really don't test nit and phos often. Just watch my tank.

Water Change 15-20 gallons every 2 weeks


Check Parameters 3-5days and dose as needed. I use Brightwell Aquatics and supplement everything individually.
