Recommended SKimmers

Hi Mr,


Upgrading to a 120g this weekend and am in need of a skimmer. Can someone please request a good skimmer that is reasonably priced? I plan on keeping zoas/Lps and a decent amount of fish so it will be a heavy bioload.

Looking at the Reef octopus DCS 150, Vertex omega 150 or that skimz 161. They are all sweet skimmers. Ugh why does the choice have to be so hard!

Asm skimmers are great for the price. I have a G5 for sale at $200

No offense but ASM's are terrible and this is coming from someone who owned 3 of them. I never new better but now that I've had Delted and Reef Octopus skimmers, ASMs are just cheaply fabricated skimmers aside from the Sedra pumps

Thanks all. I like the reef octopus dcs 150. However, I need to pick one up relatively soon as I am getting the bigger tank sat morning. If anyone has anything for sale at a good price and is close to or on long island PM me.
