Harlequin's don't eat them. Any Halichoeres wrasse will eat them. I agree with many of the other people on here they are beneficial and eat detritus and uneaten food. Not trying to be negative but you have to be overfeeding to have that many. They also seem to multiple in cycles, you will see a lot and then they disappear. I would not sweat them, in my soft coral tank (which I overfeed :) they literally reach out of the zoa colonies as soon as I put food in

+1, same with me in my 75gallon, I don't see them doing any harm to my tank

Update:

Just an example of what I was able to collect from my sump from cleaning the filters and pumps. offdahooklikeoj is pending pickup. I tried collecting them last week, but they didn't survive roughly half a week in a container (not sure why). I'm guessing they're semi sensitive. Pickup will be in 11235.

They're all clumped up, but theres a few dozen in there (as well as some asterinas and copepods (the big ones). As a reference, The fully expanded one is nearing 3 inches in width.
