diatoms problem

can someone tell me the best way to get rid of diatoms...i did water change a few days ago and it started showing again..added snails but not enough to get rid of it...i have the tank running for 2 months or so now but ive been having problems with it lately..so if anyone can give me some advice it would mean alot

Just let them burn out. Patience my friend.

Do you use RODI water?

Snails will not help.

Getting them on my sand driving me crazy ....

Harmless, just wait until the tank starts its maturation stage when the algae and crazy bacteria start.

Its all good with a lot of patience and good physical husbandry.

as of right now im only doing FOWLR but im buying RODI soon

Most likely they will not go away as you may have a substantial amount of silicates in your water source.

After you switch to rodi, they should eventually burn themselves out. I could take quite awhile though.
