I recently purchased a sea hare to consume mixed algae that wouldnt go into remission yet I managed to stop from spreading. I noticed some of the newer rock I have in my tank that was cleaned has many patches of corraline blooming over the past week since its been clean.... My question is was that coralline growing and spreading under the algae or did the Sea Hare help spread it somehow?
NOTE: Once I eliminated the source of my algae problems I raised my 3 basic levels of Calcium, Magnesium and Alk through the roof!
