Wow. Sorry for your losses guys. We arrived at 10am, made our purchases at 10:05 and left the swap at the end of the day(6pm). It was our first swap, we ended up picking up the lil' man from the sitter and then got home finally around 7:45pm. So the corals sat in the car in a plastic bag for almost two hours with nothing keeping them warm. Items made it into the tank by 10pm. We used no heaters or anything and thankfully everything is happy and doing well. Rics, Zoas, Clam and Polys are all fine. Beginners luck maybe who knows, or maybe all my thanks should go to the wonderful vendor who held onto my items until the end of the swap. ![]()

the LPS tend to shred bags. The black plastic liners some vendors use work great. I tend to save them. DFS puts like 10 of them in layers when they pack. I save the outside dry layers ![]() I actually ran out of bags Thanks Dr. Mac!I lost 4-6 rics, not bad considering all the jostling etc. Sorry for everyones losses I do recommend hand warmers and a cooler... B

50% of my purchases gone...I brought about 14 Frags. I was there at 9am and got home about 7ish (Everything I got from ming is good.). I was afraid of buying the heater packs because I didn't know about how much heat would be produced by the packs.

The frags I bought are doing very well. I used the heat packs at the door. I did just have a huge loss of a miami huricane that was shipped doa today $350 frag. When I ship hammer lps I rubber band a piece of styrofoam to the frag and let it float. |
