Here's a pic in the tank with actinics, not really a good pic, but you can make out the shrimp cleaning it.

Alot of it is luck. You need to get one that takes to captivity and will eat food that will keep it alive, not just eat. They do better in a tank with alot of cover and need to be kept with peaceful tank mates. For evey one that makes it tons of others don't.

The best way to keep this fish alive is to leave it in the Ocean and go with one of the other Angels that is more hardy.

Give the fish a chance to settle it before worring about it eating. Consistly feeding it to get it to eat will only cause more stress to the fish. As whether it comes from Bali, Red Sea or IO it still a hard fish to keep and the survial rate isn't good. Even if the fish is eating most don't make it with some dying within a week others last a month of two.
Im still feeding the fish on my regular twice a day schedule, however this time I mince up the angel food with cyclopeeze. I am going to start to mix it with garlic in hopes it will take it. That's how I got my hippo tang to eat. However, she's been eating, just not like a pig yet.

Shes about 4 inches from head to the end of her tail. Did you have trouble feeding it when you first got it? Mine seems to not eat all the time I feed her, sometimes she does, but now she seems to be just investigating.

Jawwad,

Mine only eats fresh clam on the shell initially for the first few months. Now I chopped up the clam meat and put it in the tank he will go crazy tracing down the pieces. Still is the only thing he will eat besides the pods in the tank. This week, I have seen him eating my hard to find zoas frags. Ough. But what can I do.

I must be lucky mine eats, pellet, myisis, plankton, prime reef, formula one angel formula.
it took her/him about a week to get over the shyness and aggressively feed.
now as soon as walk by the tank it's right up at the top looking to eat
