well, i got snap happy today these truned out well. and the first one i still need an id on. i have never seen anyone else with this coral. it seems to be some sort of encrusting lps. it started out the size of a pencil eraser, and is now about the size of a half dollar.

and here it is in relation to a mushoom.
(oh and jim i am trying to get it to grow onto another rock for you)

i have been thinking it was a type of hydnophora, but this thing eats brine, mysis, so i think it is lps. not too sure though. i forgot to take it to the swap for someone to try to id lol

i have asked about it being hydno in the past and everyone usually says no. if so then this is a cool sps since it spent they majority of it's life under pc and not very strong ones at that

actually it only does really well under subdued lighting, its not very light loving...more points towards microconos :wink1:

My digi is at my friends, so it will have to be tmrw..but you shall see!!
