All those dyed corals have very short lifespans once you get it home.
If it's too bright it's gotta be dyed.

There was thread on RC where Walt Smith commented about dyed corals and people claming that corals came from a certain area while the coral doen't even grow in that area. All to just pump up the price. I guess they couldn't use different lighting or photoshopping anymore, as peple have become more awear, so they resorted to other things. Mind you this is a very common practice on the fresh water side and has been with anemones for years.

Not sure that a good correlation there between buying dyed corals and smoking cigarettes.
