Why don't you just get aquaclear filter and modify it to refugium. And drill a hole to put your iceprobe? It's cheaper and I think it's much easier to drill the hole on aquaclear filter. And I believe you have small tank, I don't think skimmer is needed if you to water change regularly. Plus I heard bakpak skimmer sucks :)

lol Savager...thnx man...did you get that MH unit... i hope you did..lucky i had my eye on it :P anyway..did you also get the iceprobe refugium..lol sorry to many questions..yea i am lazy..I am just so busy doing a sport and studying bio..sometimes i forget to change the water...i thought about a aquaclear but the Bakpak would skim...i dont know if anyother skimmer would fit my tank...the seaclone was the worst I think the scientists just got lazy one day..and came up with a seaclone..people will buy it cause it has a mini-tornado in it..hehe worked for me anyway..i just gave up on it...Anyway i am getting one for 50$ from a member that is the same price as an aquaclear right? Petco has them for like 30$...

I got the light but he hasn't shipped it yet, well he should send it today but I haven't got the tracking number yet. As for the iceprobe, I am still debating rather I am getting Iceprobe or ICA from nanocustom. Anyway, I don't have any money right now, so I have to wait for future investment.

I found it today looking for a pump. Someone else asked about it.
You can drill the tank or use the aquaclear filter like Savager said. If it does work in the CPR its going to lower the value when you sell it.
IMO, i think its a bad idea.

I saw an acrylic nano on nanoreef.com where the guy had drilled and placed the Ice Probe in the back of it.

Its really easy to get a nice large Aquaclear HOB and drill the hole in its lid- I did it and it works great. If you get a larger size (like a aqua clear 70) you can fit most of your instruments inside of it (25w heater would probably fit, any probes, etc. would as well). Its really a good way to hide stuff and add some extra vol. and gentle flow to a nano. I also have my ATO water return PVC pipe going into the AC lid. Keeps my tank as clean as possible with no sump!
