light times?

How long to you leave your tank lights on. Now that I have a controller I'm not at the mercy of my schedule any more. I have a 55 gallon with 4 PC lights. How would you all do it?

most people will set their lights up on 6hrs for whites and 8hrs actinics. Actinics go on an hour before the whites, and go off an hour after the whites.

When u actually go on and off is up 2 u and how much light the room gets and when u are home etc.

Left Halide - 5pm - 11pm

I keep my PC light on longer- 1130am -> 1130pm. Would do less for MH...

Actinic On at 4pm
Halides on at 6pm
Halides off at 10pm
Actinics off at 12am
