Actinic Blue Supplements

Going to get 3 250W MH with 10k bulbs...

Just wondering, for a supplement to put the blue for the dawn/dusk effect... is there a regular NO flouscent actinic light compared to the VHOs ?

There is an Actinic 03 but it is only 40 watts and 48" long. I am going to go with the VHO actinics - much more color.

LB definitely go with the VHO's or even T5's. You'll be happy with the overall coloration of your reef and corals....besides the dawn/dusk effect. Check Premiumaquatics.......they have everything you need.

You like T5 blue or Actinics? I tried both and I still like URI VHO Actinic 03 the best.

I am in the process of making my canopy. I think I will be having two 175w MH and two T5 actinics. I heard and read that T5 look better and last longer..

I have both T5's and VHO and like the VHO better also. Just my 2c.

How about the 20k blub? Anyone tried that? Or its not the same feel and color as putting in actinic supplement..
