It depends on the flow from your pump, and whether they are 1 1/2" holes, or 1 1/2" bulkheads. Two 1.5" bulkehads would be plenty for a 90. If you have 1.5" HOLES, thats only a 3/4" or so bulkhead. They'd be great for your returns. You'll have to drill another hole for a drain pipe. I have a 1 1/4" bulkhead (pluming parts) as the drain to my sump. (on a 20 gallon.)

BC, I think I have two 1.5" bulkheads. I am able to use a 1.5" PVC elbow on each of them. So the more flow i get from my pump the louder the noise it will make from the elbow drainage.

two 1.5's for your drains is great. I would do an external durso. Put a T instead of the elbows. Put the short side of the T to the bulkhead, and the long side vertical. Cap the top of the T and drill a hole in the cap. Should make it a lot quieter.

I was debating this for a long time. If this is as quiet as a bottom drain with overflow, I think I am not gonna try and drill any hole in the tank as I have no experience. I don't want to crack or break my tank.. :D

I am gonna put a external durso as BC mention then. I don't even have to build a overflow box around it. All I need is some kind of strainer on the elbow, right?

As I know that someone had drilled two hole before I got the tank.
So are you saying you already have two holes in the tank? The external durso BC is talking about still requires a hole and bulkhead thru the tank. I emailed you a diagram of a bulkhead-durso set up.
