if you have the skimmer in a chamber before the baffles then bubbles wont be a problem

Ive been reading along in this thread for awhile very interesting I must say. Im looking for a few opions on a skimmer. I have a 180 reef very light bioload currently with a 60 gallon sump which falls into a 100 gallon rubbermaid tub plumbed in my basement. Im looking at these 2 skimmers since it was looking like the das are kinda crappy. The H&S External Skimmer Up To 225gal - A150-F2001 or the ATI Bubble Master 250 I plan on gravity feeding it. Thanks Jason |

Reefer Ratings: (0) Friends: (0) | Which skimmer
Ive been following this thread for awhile now very interesting. Im in the market for a new skimmer & have narrowed it down to these 2 lmk what you think. It will be on a lightly stocked 180 reef with a 60 gallon sump which drops into a 100 gallon rubbermaid tub all plumbed down into my basement. The ATI Bubblemaster 250 or the H&S External Skimmer Up To 225gal - A150-F2001. I want to use this externally & gravity feed it. Will that be possible with the Bubblemaster? I was at first thinking a MRC but the cust service is horrible & he was a prick on the phone & well Deltecs are out of my price range. Thanks Jason |

Its time for me to make my skimmer purchase & Ive narrowed it down to these 2. I was at first leaning towards an mrc but Andy is a artard & if your not wanting what hes tryin to sell at that very moment then cust service is out the window. Heres my choices either a ATI BubbleMaster 250 or a H&S External Skimmer Up To 225gal - A150-F2001. Im wanting to run it externally & it will be on a lightly stocked 180rr with a 60 gallon sump which drops to a 100 gallon rubbermaid tub all plumbed in my basement. Lmk what you think the pros & cons are of each 1. |
