cause it pulls out stuff like that...i am afraid of stuff i miss...what is going on with my tank.. 2 clown fish...and mostly zoa coral...and a clam.. |

I think it is still breaking in. If you open up the air more can you get it to overflow? Also you could cut back the outflow a bit to help spped up the break in. That is more skimmate than that poor last skimmer had already. My bubbles go down further than that and there are not as many "stray bubbles" at the bottom. Mine has a very definite bottom to the bubble column. Keep us informed. Jesse |

Yeah J, I would definitely close that rudder on the outflow a little bit to raise the water level a little in the skimmer. That foam is too dry. I Know that skimmer can do better than these pics. Bring that thing here, i'll show you how to use it ![]() |
