Slama, everything is original.
No mods, or new pump.

Update on the DAS EX-3!

The third skimmer is missing a rubber bushing for the needle wheel\magnet and I called them more than 10 times about it, never got a call back nor the piece I needed. I guess I gave them enough chances?

My take on the skimmer - they should be in the POS(MRC) club with a none-responding vendor support. DON'T buy DAS..

cali, i don't think das builds their needle wheels themselves.... i got a needle wheel from them and it was in aquabee packaging, but they still should have returned your call...

i ordered some additional parts from das a few weeks ago and haven’t received a shipment yet... their customer services definitely sux!!!

where did you order the parts from Steve.

That's strange I got a replacement impeller for my broken impeller shaft in just a few days. I guess it's hit or miss.

My BX-3 is kicking butt right now. The air lines need to be cleaned frequently and it seems to work best in 12" of sump water. I am finally getting a wet skimmate(about 20oz per day)
