Schooling fish ?

I would like to have some schoooling fish in my 58. is my space 26 length a liniting factor? should I avoide the schooling fish in this tank?

If it is feasable, how many should be kept together to get them to school?

I was consider 5 Blue-eyed Anthias (Pseudanthias squamipinnis)

What do you all think?

green chromis are great schooling fish IMO, 6 or more looks great

6 anthias in that tank would be a disaster -

I would tend to agree - 6 really small chromis would be awesome.

The anthias would need much more room. Perhaps you can try some Threadfin cardinals. They look real cool but not as active as a school of chromis.

Yeah, chalk bass would be great as well. I just love the way they attack their food! Makes me think the big striped bass must feed the same way.

I agree with all the above suggestions. The anthias are not a good fit for that size tank. I'm itching to get a male and harem in my 75 and won't.

The BG Chromis & Cardinals both are great looking schooling fish.
