ok, not that i NEED pats on the back, but,
i dont understand the TF.
If i get 3 TF for the week only 2 show up, i c X amount on my TF listings but all r not posted under my name, can some 1 explain...
also
maybe for newbies we can explain wat the TF is and wat r some instances when its appropriate to submit and when not to..

Josh told me if you receive multiple ratings from the same member, only 1 counts. It's to prevent a "buddy" from running up your rating feedback. So basically, your current rating represents how many different members have given you a positive rating.3

I believe every transaction should be rated. I know MR is a great place to buy/sell/trade, but not enough negative feedback is given :scratch:

I don't think negative feedback is given because we all see each-other.

You would have to be a giant d!*k to get a negative feedback here IMO.

But people should know if they screw someone over in this club on a deal it will be the kiss of death for the rest of their MR trades.

I was <this> close to giving someone on a group buy negative feedback - instead I chose to PM her with my dissatisfaction and forewarned her if it happened again, I would hold nothing back. I believe people deserve a warning - "People are generally good" (John Dewey)

i tend to agree with jon, its the kiss of death to screw some1 cause we r all so tight...but in support wat dean is saying, it tends to be alittle cream puff around here at times....

o i understand about multiple TF of the same ppl, but between dean and jim i must have had at least 10 DIFFERENT transactions, all not related to each other...seems we r not sampling all transactions to "complete" a rating...m2c

Tough situation here. I agree with Mike and with the MR policy. It would be very easy to run up someones rating with multiple positive feedbacks. But in all fairness to each individual transaction, they should be independent of the previous ones as well.

Dean or Jim or any mod, what would happen if someone had multiple positive ratings from one person (obviously they total just +1 in the TF) but then the same traders involved, one posts a negative or neutral rating. Does that get counted differently? If not, then there is a bit of a snag with the rating system. And if it does permit a variation of rating, then wouldn't it also stand true that each transaction should receive its 'just accountability' in the TF ratings?
