As long as the total draw from the powerstrip does not exceed the 6amp limit per outlet you should be fine.

So if you wanted to have a powerstrip with 2 heaters on it plugged into a single outlet of the DC8 then the AC Jr would turn the strip on intead of a single heater plugged directly into the DC8.

So what you're saying is that you can't control the individual outlets on a powerstrip. You can only control the strip itself as one appliance. If so, that sucks. I don't know of many people that have 6 or 8 individual outlets at their tank.

Sorry if I confused you, here is how it works:

The DC8 gets plugged into a single wall outlet. The AC Jr connects to the DC8 via a telephone cord. You plug in your equipment into the 8 plugs on the DC8. The AC Jr controls each of the 8 plugs on the DC8. Now if you have say 2 heaters that you want to go on and off at the same time instead of controlling 2 outlets on the DC8 you can plug a normal powerstrip into a single DC8 outlet and then both heaters into the powerstrip. This way you can control the heaters on a single outlet instead of using up 2.
