do you just plug in the transformer to the fan or do you need to actually cut the wires and solder them together?

damn thats real cheap!! i wish i didnt buy my fans now from Dr. F&S, they are pretty good though. just not for 1.29 each in comparrison

the fans run about 0.17 amps. so I'm figuring 200ma per (startup) I might be able to find an 800ma for you so it's only one. If not, you'll have to buy 2 of the ones above.

Just found one for $10 that will power all 4

Noob, look at the sound rating of that fan. Really loud for a 3" fan.
